The head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has declared from under Sali Berisha's house, in front of sympathizers, that the former prime minister is under house arrest because he opposed the change of borders in the Balkans.
After greeting Berisha, Meta said that he is under arrest, as according to him he has created terror with the truths he told every day in the Assembly.
"I salute Dr. Sali Berisha for his extraordinary endurance. We also threw the Open Balkans in Skopje in Vardar. Sali Berisha is there because he came out against the change of borders in the Balkans, against the mutilation of Kosovo and against the troubled and open Balkans.
Sali Berisha is there because he has always been for the Berlin process. Europe is in our hearts, in our heritage. Europe has been settled with a sword in hand by Skenderbeu. That's why we need the wisdom and bravery of Skenderbeu, but we need even more like Ylli Bodinaku who is here and many others to tear down the wall of incinerators and PPPs that has excluded Albanians from economic growth in the country.
Sali Berisha is here because he created horror with the truths he said every day in the Parliament. Sali Berisha is there while Veliaj is 4 years late in prison, where he deserves it because he signed by usurping the powers of the Municipal Council" , he said.
