Speaker Lindita Nikolla has responded to the chairperson of the Investigative Committee for Health, Albana Vokshi, to meet and discuss the impasse that has gripped the parliamentary committee that is investigating sterilization and check-up concessions.
Deputy Albana Vokshi and speaker of parliament Lindita Nikolla met this Tuesday, while the democratic deputy asked her to intervene to resolve the impasse.
She added that the investigative plan is expected to be presented by the experts at the meeting, which she said she hopes will be agreed upon.
"We asked for the return of the investigation to the legality tracks. We demanded that Speaker Lindita Nikolla take the responsibilities and put the commission's work back on track. We expressed the readiness of the opposition for an in-depth investigation. You are aware that today at 9:30 a.m. we had a meeting at the small commission's head office and we agreed that the commission will meet on Friday at 12:00 p.m. where the experts will present the investigative plan, which we hope will be agreed upon . Vokshi said in a statement.
The SP and the opposition have not reached an agreement between them in the Health Investigation Commission for weeks, while the socialists have progressed by only approving the investigative plan.
The day before, the majority made a visit to QSUT to see the implementation of the sterilization concession.
