Defense Minister Niko Peleshi goes to SPAK

It is not yet known why Peleshi was presented to SPAK. This is the first time that the minister appears in SPAK.

Minister of Defense Niko Peleshi appeared this morning around 09:50 at the Special Prosecutor's Office.

It is learned that Peleshi was called in the framework of the investigations for the incinerators, the relationship with Klodian Zoto, as well as for the procedure of the water meters when he was the mayor of the municipality of Korça.

Pelesi appeared alone at the premises of the Special Prosecutor's Office. It is learned that he received a summons to appear at SPAK at 10:00.

This is the first time that Minister Peleshi appears at SPAK.

Peleshi holds the position of Minister of Defense since 2020, while in the period September 2017-2019 he served as Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Earlier, he held the position of Deputy Prime Minister in the period 2013-2017.
