Minister of Health Evis Sala has admitted that there are existing problems regarding the Oncology Hospital, but work is being done to resolve them.
Sala stated in the Assembly that 1 billion lek has been allocated only for medicines for Oncology.
"I don't want to do politics with patients' pain. A short while ago, I accepted a personal challenge as a doctor, since I started my career precisely at Oncology, where these days I have touched every nook and cranny without the presence of the media.
The challenges exist and we are already acting. Just 3 days ago, 300 million lek was reallocated to solve the urgent problem with drugs at the QSUT. 1 billion lek just for drugs at Oncology. Problems are not solved with political rhetoric or by playing with patients' pain ," said Sala.
