In the final hours before the May 11 parliamentary elections, the Democratic Party has issued a call to all administration employees to implement the laws and not put themselves at the service of patronage.
The DP's campaign spokesman, Andi Mustafaj, said that civil servants should not be afraid, they should carry out their duties in accordance with the laws. But the DP also had a warning for patronage activists, who, according to it, will face the law.
"Yes, a word about civil servants. I would like to recall once again the continuous call of the Chairman of the Democratic Party, Mr. Sali Berisha, for civil servants in the administration.
We have the greatest respect for civil servants who perform their duties honestly, professionally and in service to all Albanian citizens.
They should not be afraid, they should continue to perform their duty, once again, they perform it for all Albanian citizens, not for the patronage satraps.
"I believe it is clear to the public that the Democratic Party's determination to go all the way, to find everyone, each one, and to bring them to justice is very great. I emphasize: very great," said Mustafaj.
