The "Albania Becomes" movement has announced that a massive protest will be held in front of the Prime Minister's Office tomorrow.
Through an official announcement, the leader of Adriatik Lapaj states that he will protest against Edi Rama and his government.
According to Lapaj, this protest comes because Rama is leading a corrupt system, where theft and scandals are everywhere. He adds that this government has left Albanians without vital medicines, turning healthcare into a privilege for those who pay.
"I invite everyone, take your relatives, whoever disagrees with theft," Lapaj says.
He emphasizes that the cost of living has increased, but salaries remain minimal. In this context, the "Albania Becomes" Movement demands the immediate resignation of Edi Rama, the creation of a transitional government with independent professionals and a 12-month mandate to prepare free and democratic elections.
"Tomorrow, Sunday - 12:00, we protest against Edi Rama and his government because:
1. Publicly defends Belinda Balluku, despite the facts and investigations into serious abuses and misuse of public funds.
2. It runs a corrupt system, where theft and scandals emerge wherever there are investigations.
3. It has left Albanians without vital medicines, turning healthcare into a privilege for those who pay.
4. It has impoverished pensioners and left them with pensions that do not even cover basic needs.
5. It has destroyed the education and future of young people, forcing them to leave the country.
6. The cost of living has increased, while wages remain minimal.
7. It has captured institutions and destroyed trust in free elections and democracy.
– The immediate resignation of Edi Rama;
– A transitional government with independent professionals;
"- 12-month mandate for the preparation of free and democratic elections," Lapaj writes.
