From the collapse of opportunities for early elections to the 'battle'

Prime Minister Edi Rama is holding an informal meeting in Lezha which started at 10:00. Rama has gathered together with the ministers, directors, deputies and representatives of the Socialist Party to reveal the objectives of 2024.

The first part of the informal meeting of the Rama government in Shengjin, where political aspects were discussed, has ended.

Referring to the sources from this meeting, it is learned that Prime Minister Edi Rama has emphasized the improvement of the work of the parliamentary committees and a further strengthening of the party at the base.

Rama has also ruled out the possibility of early parliamentary elections.

This request of the prime minister came after the speech of the chairman of the parliamentary group Bledi Çuçi.

Media sources also inform that during his speech, Bledi Çuçi focused on the past plenary sessions, taking stock of how many interpellations were held, how many debated motions, the draft laws deposited in the Assembly, of which how many from the government and how many of the deputies.

Furthermore, Çuçi also analyzed the presence of deputies in plenary sessions, group meetings and commissions. In this meeting, the meetings of the ministers with the deputies were also discussed. How many discussions have there been in the committees about the Budget and the Fiscal Package?

The focus of Bledi Çuçi's analysis was also the performance of deputies in public debates, discussions in sessions and commissions and presence in the electoral areas.

Part of the discussion was the continuation of parliamentary life after the incidents and the blocking of the opposition. Laws in the Assembly that need a qualified majority, such as amnesty for convicts or other initiatives that need 84 votes.
