The head of the parliamentary group of the Socialist Party, Niko Peleshi, invited the opposition MPs to join the two Special Commissions and give their contribution.
During his speech in the new parliamentary session, Peleshi said that some issues go beyond politics and such is the integration of Albania in the EU.
According to him, the government will not be integrated into the EU, but Albania, therefore cooperation between all political actors is necessary.
"I want to reconfirm our spirit of cooperation, here in the Assembly hall and in all commissions. This will of the SP comes as a sincere effort to give Albanians better laws. There are some challenges of this parliament that are not partisan, they require long-term commitment because they are related to the long-term future of Albania. The government will not be integrated into the EU, but Albania and the Albanians, therefore the representatives of the whole people must be included here. SP and our parliamentary group will support and empower further. I invite you to actively join the work of the two parliamentary commissions on the way to consolidation as European states. In these moments, Albanians want to see leadership. The Special Commission Against Corruption and the one for disinformation, SP hopes that it will maximally activate the parliament" , said Peleshi.
