Nisma Thurje has reacted after the statements made today by Adriatik Lapaj, who made a public invitation to Endri Shabani.
He demanded that both of them reject the deputy's mandate and that it be passed on to Gerta Ambel, as the woman with the most votes.
But Shabani's party has deviated in its reaction, focusing on threats against him and members of the Nisma Thurje, while failing to provide a response to Lapaj's request.

We express disappointment with today's stance by Mr. Lapaj regarding the acts of violence and threats that his closest associates have exerted against the activists and leaders of the Nisma Thurje.
We are outraged that Mr. Lapaj has refused to distance himself from his family members, who have directly threatened Mr. Shabani and his family. We are equally outraged that he congratulated his party leaders, who have used public platforms to incite hatred and violence against Zeqir Kordhoni’s family members.
By behaving in this way, he showed that he has chosen to stand shoulder to shoulder with those who are willing to kill for power.
Violence as a means to resolve political impasses is a moral red line that no person in public life should ever cross.
This is not politics.
No political agenda, no ambition, no election result justifies this behavior.
When you praise the abusers, when you belittle the victims, when you side with the strong, you are no longer part of the democratic debate, you are an accomplice and inspirer, if not an instigator, of violence.
We cannot accept violence as normal. We cannot accept threats against family members as normal. And anyone who does not condemn these acts, or, worse, justifies them, should have no place in public life.
We ask Mr. Lapaj to immediately:
1. Publicly condemn any act of violence against activists and their families;
2. He clearly and unequivocally distances himself from his family members involved in threats and blackmail,
3. Hold accountable and hold accountable those leaders of his party who have incited hatred and violence.
Any other action is a betrayal of every citizen who believes that change comes through courage, ideas, and respect, not through violence, threats, and fear.
