Berisha's "non grata", Basha's candidate: Here's why

Azgan Haklaj, who is running for MP for Lulzim Basha's Euro-Atlantic Party, said that Chris LaCivita, who will lead the campaign of the "Greater Albania Alliance" coalition, represents a lobbying company, but that he will not succeed in the case of removing the "non grata" for Sali Berisha.

According to Haklaj, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has made it clear and signed that "Sali Berisha remains sanctioned for corruption."

"Chris LaCivita is a lobbying company. But the US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, has made it clear in the report, Sali Berisha sanctioned non grata for corruption. It is clear, it has nothing to do with LaCivita. Rubio has removed any equivocation from him", Haklaj said for Report TV.

Regarding the lists of candidates for MPs, he states that there is a tacit agreement between the SP and the DP for some of them, exchanging them on the lists.

"Have you seen the alliances with the lists of DP-SP candidates? Have you seen Alban Zeneli of the DP on the SP list in Kukës? What about Rama's agreement? What about the candidate from Kavaja, Elvis Roshi's cousin on the DP list? They have an agreement between them," said the former Democrat MP.
