Prime Minister Rama has announced a deep reformation in the Socialist Party in September.
Analyst Mentor Nazarko analyzed these warnings, which according to him can be related to many factors.
He emphasized that looking at the state of the opposition, Rama may try to create a new re-legitimacy of the SP. According to Nazarko, another rumor, which circulates in public, talks about a possible provocation of early elections.
"It corresponds to a kind of tradition of Mr. Rama, that he will not create the idea that summer vacations are totally passive vacations for the government's activities and his own. Secondly, it is an action, which coincides in terms of time with the active action of SPAK, in an issue that implicates certain institutions. Thirdly, I agree with a saying, that maybe depending on the SPAK investigations, which may affect certain levels of the socialist government that has been in power for ten years and as a result has an extraordinary consumption of credibility, therefore, in a such perspective, Rama seeks a new type of re-legitimization of the SP through early elections. It can be catharsis, but also preparation of SP for new electoral re-legitimization. Provocation of early elections, so that through this confrontation,he said.
Further, Nazarko said that the recent developments, which have taken place in the Albanian opposition, seem to add "voice" to the idea of holding early elections.
"There are many signs that foretell this, although in a sense the developments within the DP can be interesting to favor the hypothesis of early elections. With the arrival of Mr. Basha at the head of the legal PD", he said to "Abcnews".
