The member of the leadership of the DP, Taulanda Jupi, stated that the DP is in the process of reorganization.
In an interview for Euronews Albania, she emphasized that the PD during 2023 has marked important steps in terms of internal developments within it. According to her, by the end of January, elections will be held for all branch managers.
"In fact, during 2023, DP has marked important steps in terms of internal developments within it. It is a moment of reflection where everyone makes a resume and a summary of achievements and non-achievements. I can say that the DP today, after two years, is at a very important moment of its revival. The year 2023 has marked a very important moment of its revival. The year 2023 has marked strong tectonic collisions of different political beliefs and agendas within the DP, but I believe that these have already been overcome.
PD is a party that owns its entire structure throughout Albania. Reorganization has been done in the first phase of the elections, and I believe that by the end of January the elections for the heads of the branches will be held. We cannot hide that the DP has lost part of its opposition force while dealing with its internal problems, but I believe that the opportunity that the deputies of the DP have had, the DP itself, despite the fact that we do not want to be part of the tensions in the Assembly, we have preferred to be constructive in our proposals, whether in the public debate or the draft laws that have been approved recently", she said.
