The Democratic Party of Albania will protest tomorrow in front of the Parliament, as the hall votes on Belinda Balluku's immunity. According to the official announcement, the rally is expected to start at 10:00.
Regarding this activity, the Tirana Police announces that measures have been taken to guarantee public order and security, in cooperation with the General Directorate of the State Police. The measures have been taken in accordance with the law "On Gatherings", with the aim of ensuring the smooth conduct of the protest and avoiding incidents.
As part of the plan of measures, authorities have announced temporary restrictions on vehicle traffic. Specifically, from 6:00 a.m. until the end of the rally, traffic will be restricted on George W. Bush Street, one of the main thoroughfares near the Parliament building.
The police explain that, depending on the number of participants and the development of the rally, there may be temporary restrictions on other roads around the protest area.
To facilitate the movement of citizens, Tirana Police has also provided alternative routes where traffic will be diverted in the event of blockage of the main axes.
Authorities call on drivers to show understanding for the temporary restrictions and follow the instructions of the traffic police services.
The Police also appeal to citizens to distance themselves if they encounter illegal actions that may violate public order and safety during the rally.
