Protesters who came out to oppose the draft law on "Protected Zones", were "caught" with MP Erion Braçe outside the premises of the Assembly.
"Shame, shame, Erion Brace, did you vote for the law? Shame!", protestors are heard addressing MP Erion Braçe.
"Have you taken that thief of Saliu's time with you?" That he protected Divjaka, that thief of Saliu, you have it there!" said Braçe.
In a noisy session that lasted only 10 minutes, the Parliament of Albania ratified the Rama-Meloni agreement for immigrants with 77 votes in favor. Even the PDIU joins the votes with the SP.
On the agenda was the planned vote on the agreement with Italy for immigrants and the draft law on Criminal Amnesty. However, the latter was removed from the agenda, since according to sources, SP failed to secure 84 votes for approval.
While receiving 74 votes in favor, the Assembly approved today the law on Protected Areas. Democratic Party MP Ina Zhupa said that this is a custom law for the interests of the oligarchs and that it violates EU directives.
