Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti received Edi Rama in a meeting, where the focus of the talks was on existing bilateral agreements and the expansion of cooperation between the two countries.
Kurti, in a reaction on social media after the meeting, announced that the discussions focused on areas where current agreements can be expanded, new opportunities for cooperation, and ways to utilize them for the purpose of joint development.
"With our renewed mandates, through intergovernmental and interstate cooperation, let us serve even more citizens in both republics and our entire nation," he said.
He also emphasized that the challenges facing both countries and ways to overcome them were addressed.
"I welcomed the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama. We discussed the bilateral agreements we have and areas where we can increase them, new opportunities and how to best utilize them, as well as common challenges and ways to overcome them as easily as possible," Kurti added.
For his part, Prime Minister Rama has not yet announced additional details about the meeting, while no new concrete agreements signed during this visit have been announced.
The meeting comes within the framework of ongoing relations between Kosovo and Albania, which have been characterized by cooperation in areas such as economy, infrastructure, education and foreign policy.
