The German Embassy in a reaction to the media has stated that it is closely following the developments regarding the concession of the German company EMS in the port of Durrës. They state that they cannot comment on the ongoing procedures.
" It is in the interest of our two countries that German companies and other international companies find an attractive investment environment in Albania. For this, the right and legal conditions are essential" , says the Embassy's response.
We recall that on Saturday EMS accused the APD of arbitrary actions, after having forcibly entered the terminal in the early hours of the morning and had blocked with concrete blocks the exercise of the activity of the concessionaire company.
In its response, EMS emphasized that its access to the concession area has been compromised and limited.
