The Ambassador of Turkey has commented from Korça on the phone call between Prime Minister Edi Rama and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Ambassador Tayyar Kağan Atay told reporters that the conversation between the two leaders was part of ongoing talks.
"They talked about many areas, they also talked about international relations," he told the media.
The ambassador also mentioned that in the conversation between Rama and Erdoğan, the constant demand for the cleanup of the FETO organization in Albania was repeated.
"...Especially in the field of education and religion, and this was also touched on yesterday in the telephone conversation."
Atay added that Prime Minister Rama himself should be asked about the answer received by the Turkish president.
"Regarding the FETO organization, you should ask Prime Minister Edi Rama how he answered the phone call, but I can say that the part of cleaning FETO from Albania is not only a matter of Turkey, it is also a matter of the Albanian state, they are dangerous . This cleaning should not only be done for Turkey, but also for a more secure future of your country."
However, the Turkish ambassador emphasized that FETO will not be an obstacle for the partnership between the two countries.
