PL leader Ilir Meta has reacted after the next session at the GJKKO, where the trial on the merits against him is taking place. Meta said that the prosecution has dismissed the main charge, which, according to him, was related to the claim of a $1 million lobbying for a photo with former US President Donald Trump.
Meta stated that the prosecutor admitted in the hearing that it was a payment of $15,000 to the company "McKeon Group", a payment that he said he had publicly declared to SPAK three years ago.
He also attacked the foreign media "Mother Jones" and "Kronen Zeitung", claiming that the articles against him were sponsored "with the money of incinerators and the international mafia."
According to Meta, these publications were the basis for the criminal complaint and accusation that led to his arrest and political isolation for 19 months.
"Patience! The other accusations will also be dismantled one after another ," Meta declared in his reaction.

Look now at the fake news headlines of "Mother Jones" and "Kronen Zeitung", sponsored with the money of the incinerators and the international mafia, on which the false report and the main accusation against me was built, an accusation on which my kidnapping and political isolation of 19 months was based, an accusation that was today dismissed by the Prosecutor's Office itself.
