DP protests, Paloka: Rama fled only by force, police used unnecessary violence
January 24th protest

DP MP Edi Paloka described the January 24 protest as different from others due to the participation of many young DP supporters, who, according to him, expressed their anger against the government.

Paloka said that this is the form of protest that the opposition should continue in the next protest on February 10.

He emphasized that it is necessary for the opposition front to unite and for the people to take to the streets and protest against the bad governance that has ruined their family economy.

" Rama should have left a long time ago, but he has always overcome situations. Now it seems that he is left between the fires, he is under many fires and he has started many of them himself."

Rama did not leave except through protests and force. Today he said that you cannot take me by force. In fact, Rama does not give anything to anyone with good will. The only way is imposition, force ," Paloka said on the show "This Week" on News24.

He said that we have already declared the main goal of the protest to be a show of strength through participation, and of course the protest also has other elements, some of which are instigated and some are instigated by citizens.

Referring to the police's reaction to the protesters, Paloka said that there was unnecessary violence that, unlike other times, seemed more out of a sense of fear than arrogance.

" The unnecessary use of violence was more an indicator of fear than of strength, and this is also related to the situation in which the government and Rama himself are today."

Rama has truly fallen, figuratively speaking, for a long time, as no other government in the democratic world would have survived all these scandals.

Realistically, this time, Rama's situation is very serious.

Rama should have left a long time ago, but he has always overcome situations. Now it seems that he is caught between the fires, he is under many fires, many of which he has started himself.

Rama will not leave except through protests and force. Today he said that you can't take me by force. In fact, Rama, with good will, does not give anything to anyone. The only way is imposition, force.

Necessarily, the opposition has extended its hand to the people because this is not just a battle of the opposition and, to a lesser extent, of the DP, it is the battle of all Albanians.

When faced with daily problems, life has become unbearable, and in this regard, we have extended a hand to you.

I take advantage of this to say that the protests are not for us, for Berisha, for the MPs, they are for you, so you should come to the protest.

Except for the last protest, this one really keeps the citizens under pressure, but there is a moment when anger becomes greater than fear, and I saw this anger in the young people. This was the difference between the past protests, I saw a grit in the young people, they wanted to clash, like that boy with the umbrella who was chasing the policeman.

Rama knows no other form than force. Force is shown not only through violence, but when it comes to revolt, we cannot talk about a walk or two or three speeches. This is not a protest but a manifestation, I have expressed my opinion. I saw that there was spirit, the anger had reached its peak. I felt this," said Paloka.
