Prime Minister Edi Rama, in the last conference for this year with journalists, stated that the increase in wages in the public sector also stimulates the private market.
He said that despite the interventions, there is still informality.
"You get paid more than you declare. We leave it at that, that you all receive declared salaries. That would be the real news today. However, if you receive the declared wages, you are an exception. Although there has been formalization of wages, there is still informality.
In construction, salaries are higher than declared. Can you imagine a young girl sitting at a sewing machine where women are retiring for that salary? Never. There is no longer a good working advantage without quality. Not only is the private sector ready, it is doing it. The concern is that some of this is done informally. The increase in salaries in the public sector has repeatedly shown us that it stimulates the private sector," Rama asserted.
