"Partizani" file, Argita and Jamarbër Malltezi demand the release

Argita and Jamarbër Malltezi, the daughter and son-in-law of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, have requested the release of their assets, frozen on account of the "Partizani" file.

The criminal request with the object of "return of seized property" will be reviewed by the trial panel of the "Partizani" case, Elsa Ulliri, Bib Ndreca and Rudina Palloi.

After Malltezi's arrest, at the request of SPAK, the Special Court ordered the seizure of nearly 25 assets, of which 16 apartments, several bank accounts and his shares in several commercial companies.

In March, the Constitutional Court dismissed the lawsuit of spouses Jamarbër and Argita Malltezi after reviewing the appeal, which in November 2024 requested the return of 25 properties blocked due to the 'Partizani' file.

The court has decided not to bring the case to a plenary session, thus leaving 16 real estate properties, six accounts in Malltez's name, and the shares of the company Home Plan frozen.

Earlier, the Supreme Court and the GJKKO Appeal left the decision unchanged.

In addition to the apartments and a villa, three other companies have been seized, specifically Homeplan shpk, where Jamarbër Malltezi has 45% of the shares, Magnet IMO shpk where he has 100% of the shares, and Magnet Gym and Fit, where he has 60% of the shares.
