Prime Minister Edi Rama continues his clash with the Special Prosecution Office and the National Bureau of Investigation, even issuing a warning that the time has come to separate what he calls the "newborn baby" from the dirty waters of old mindsets.
In the 'Flasim' podcast, Rama spoke about an incident that had occurred with BKH agents and the Republican Guard, while saying that everything was related to the failure to surrender weapons by those he considered 'brave'.
SPAK, on the other hand, called the Prime Minister's bluff, explaining what had happened and denying that there had been any clash, debate or incident. According to SPAK, the agents even handed over the weapons when they were convinced that the place where they would be left was monitored by cameras and safe.
After this clarification from SPAK, Rama reacted again, even with irony, towards the special structure.
" They cited the law, according to which they can carry guns, when in fact I did not criticize them for carrying weapons without a permit, but for the ethical and legal ignorance that led them to want to enter the prime minister's office with guns, as they themselves say in their statement ," Rama wrote in a post on X.
The Prime Minister writes that the case he mentioned in the podcast is the sweetest among many other episodes.
"If this were an isolated case, I would undoubtedly not have mentioned it in today's position on the aforementioned symptoms, but unfortunately this was the sweetest of the episodes I could find, for the brave men of the BKH who often display worrying ethical and professional gaps, to put it very sweetly about this part of the problem of old diseases in the new justice systems ," the Prime Minister writes.

The BKH has also publicly responded to one of a series of episodes of lack of professional ethics by members of that body, which I mentioned today in the "Flasim" podcast, talking about the disturbing symptoms of old diseases in the new justice organizations!

However, I repeat, the time has come for a serious, professional and inter-institutional reflection, to separate the newborn baby of independent justice from the dirty waters of old mindsets and new misunderstandings, in a historical process where we must guarantee the success of the Justice Reform, while necessarily guaranteeing the independence and quality of the judiciary, but where, likewise, we can never allow the cure to become a bigger problem than the disease, endangering the freedoms and rights and the breathing space of the country's administration and economy.
