"Rama was helped by crime", Berisha: He put gangs and drug cartels on
Berisha at the meeting with the Democrats

Former Prime Minister Berisha held a meeting with the Democrats in the Kombinat area in Tirana.

He has issued a series of strong accusations against Edi Rama's government, describing it as a "narco-dictatorship" and "autocratic dictatorship."

According to him, this government has caused more damage and destruction to the Albanian identity than any other regime in the country's history.

Berisha stressed that the opposition's mission is "historic" and aims to save Albania from this system. The chief democrat also said that Rama robbed the vote with his connections to crime and drug cartels.

"A conversation that I want to have with each other, I want to have with every democrat, so that we understand, realize that today we are at the true dawn of a great transformation.

Today we are at the true dawn of an inevitable victory in its battles of the Albanian opposition. I am aware, I am aware that you are rightly desperate, you are tired, bored. An undeserved 13-year opposition is exhausting.

I am aware that the enemy we face does not respect any rules. But on the other hand, I am aware and certain that together today we are on the verge of fulfilling our historic mission, of saving Albania and Albanians from the narco-dictatorship, or autocratic dictatorship, which in many aspects has destroyed and damaged the Albanian being more than any other regime in the entire history of this country.

The head of the current narco-executive, Edi Rama, has treated the opposition with the same morality, with the same hatred, with the same hostility of his predecessors.

Of course, it wasn't during the times of totalitarian dictatorships where pluralism was prohibited by the constitution, but today it uses every means to suppress pluralism, to suppress the opposition.

In addition to the witch hunt he carries out against the opposition, their work, their businesses, and so on, he does not hesitate to arrest, to persecute, a kind of like his father, opposition leaders.

In these 13 years, Edi Rama destroyed the most fundamental institution of democracy and dignity, the free vote.

"He stays in power by plundering the vote with his criminal connections. He has elevated gangs, drug cartels, serial killers to a pedestal. With his governors and his family, he has established the most ruthless system of plunder that Albanians have known ," Berisha said.
