Former Democratic Party MP Ervin Salianji spoke in harsh tones from the meeting with the Democrats of Lezha. He said that the leadership of the DP is not reflecting, even after the massive meetings it is holding with the base.
Salianji stated that the DP is not being allowed to change by those whom he called the "fantastic five" and who do not want to lose their privileges in the opposition.
Salianji also said that he will not create another political force, but stressed that his home is the Democratic Party.
"The leadership of the DP is not waking up despite our massive meetings in the field. The courage to say nonsense has led them to the point that what they don't say about the democrats who fill the halls, they don't say about me either. There's nothing. Don't be upset. People scared by the loss of privileges from the opposition government, what won't they say. I was born in the DP, I was not in the Labor Party, I was in the DP in opposition to the Government. My family and I have only received costs, no tenders, no permits, no state employees, I have no family members, no grandchildren employed in the administration, no family members who are economically supported by the SP.
The leadership said that the opposition is difficult, but my question is sincere; do people who have been paid for 35 years because of the sacrifice of the Democrats and the confrontation with the regime feel oppositionism? I tell you clearly, I am not creating another political force, my home is the DP, we will change the DP, we will make the DP a winner. The concern in the DP is not about thousands of Democrats who are talking, but how the "5 fantastic" who remain in the leadership do not listen to the concerns of the Democrats, " the democrat said.
