ODIHR report on the May 11 elections, SP breaks silence

The Chairman of the Laws Committee, Ulsi Manja, commented on the ODIHR report, which criticizes the Socialist Party for using the administration and the patronage system in the May 11 parliamentary elections.

Manja stated that the ODIHR findings support the DP's conclusions after the elections.

With this comment, he went straight to the last pages, to the recommendations.

" Regarding the findings, they are those that I believe every Albanian knows after May 11th, as they were emphasized by the opposition not once but several times in the plenary session ," said Manja.

At today's meeting, the Democrats presented the ODIHR documents to the Albanian Parliament, which they say are more detailed than ever before.

In the joint meeting of the Laws Committee and the Committee on Civic Initiatives, Cooperation and Institutional Oversight, 6 resolutions were approved for the institutions of justice, the Committee on Public Procurement and Public Administration. The Democrats voted against.

On Monday at 10:00, the justice institutions will report to the plenary session, where MPs will have the opportunity to ask questions for around 150 minutes.
