Prime Minister Edi Rama announced that around 720 State Police officers, who operate on the front lines of dealing with the highest risks, will benefit from a salary increase.

In his "Flasim" Podcast, Rama added that the salary of an inspector at RENEA will reach around 1,600 euros, while the leaders of this structure will receive up to 2,300 euros.

For operational forces, an inspector will receive around 1,200 euros, while a chief commissioner between 1,600 and 1,700 euros.

"Around 720 State Police officers, those serving on the front lines of dealing with the highest risk, will benefit from further salary increases. RENEA Forces, National Security Forces and Special Operations Forces will be supported even more for the challenging and valuable work they do in the service of communities, in the service of our common homeland."

An inspector at RENEA will now be paid around 1,600 euros, while a manager in this structure will reach around 2,300 euros. For operational forces, the salary of an inspector will be around 1,200 euros, while for a chief commissioner between 1,600 and 1,700 euros.

"Along with serious investments in technology, training and equipment, this increase is another part of the constant approach to strengthening order and establishing a fairer ratio between the demand for results and the most appropriate assessment of these results," said Rama.
