After Berisha's maneuvers to not accept the decision of GJKKO on the security measure 'mandatory appearance', the police put the post office into action.
The Director of the State Police, Muhamet Rrumbullaku, has sent the decision to the PD headquarters, but the letter was rejected.
The general secretary of Berisha's grouping, Flamur Noka, through the secretary for legal and electoral issues, Ivi Kaso, returned the notice. He reminds the head of the State Police that correspondence in other cases should only be related to the political entity and not to specific citizens.
In the returned letter, he asks you to forward it to the citizen himself, according to legal provisions.
We remind you that former Prime Minister Berisha has again refused to appear at the next session at the Special Court, for the verification of the "Compulsion to Appear" measure. He is accused of passive corruption, in connection with the privatization of the former Partizani complex. Berisha was represented by his two lawyers, Genc Gjokutaj and Sokol Mêngjesi.
Letter sent to the General Directorate of the State Police:
Dear Mr. round,
In response to your letter no. 9196/2 prot. "Notice sent", addressed to the Democratic Party of Albania, we note that your notification is not addressed to the political entity Democratic Party but contains the notification of a citizen. Regarding the above, considering that such notifications by their very nature are strictly personal acts, please find attached your notification, in order to forward it to the interested citizen, according to the legal provisions.
We request from your side that in the future, only correspondences containing communications related to the political subject and its policy-making activity are addressed to the Democratic Party.
