The deputy of the Democratic Party Saimir Korreshi went to the Parliament hall today with corn bread and yogurt, a symbol he chose to request an increase in pensions.
Outside the Parliament, Korreshi said that his mother, who has a pension of 110,000 old Lek, uses 42,000 old Lek for medicine per month and another 63,000 Lek to buy corn bread and yogurt.
"30 days is 63 thousand Lek. Imagine all the pensioners who receive 110,000 Lek, which is what my mother receives, what can they do. They can only eat corn bread and yogurt for 1 month. 42,000 Lek medicines, 105,000 Lek went. The others are only for toilet paper, the ones that remain. That's why I'm going to take this there, I'm going without bread today, said my mother, I'll give the government aman only to have them healthy", said Saimir Korreshi.
