Ervin Salianji, during a meeting with the Berat Democrats, did not stop making jokes and ironies towards the Democratic leader, Sali Berisha.
While criticizing the way Berisha is leading the DP, Salianji compared it to the time when this party was led by Lulzim Basha, whom the former MP considered "the political son of the leader of the DP."
For Salianji, both Berisha and Basha have the same vices, mistakes, methods, and even the same behaviors, ignoring the Democrats, making mistakes in selecting candidates for deputies, and keeping the same team at the helm of the DP.
" Nothing has changed except the name of the mayor. Berisha has the same thesis as Lulzim Basha, that Edi Rama cannot win with votes. This is an imaginary fantasy of two people who function in the same way with the same vices, mistakes, methods, with the same disregard for democrats, of the wrong choice of deputies, with the same team, as a few years ago."
What has changed besides the names? Nothing, or it has gotten worse. Yes, Edi Rama is overthrown by vote. We know that Rama is overthrown by the power of the united people but also with the help of SPAK and the US and the EU.
The final tally is done at the ballot boxes. The DP will come to power by uniting the opposition and defeating Rama at the ballot boxes.
"Whoever thinks differently, we must clearly tell them that they are liars and dragging the opposition along with these liars is extremely irresponsible. The DP must win the future ," said Salianji.
The former MP continued by saying that today every process in the DP is controlled, those who think differently and young people are being excluded, and members are also being excluded from membership.
" Now they have come up with another thesis, whoever thinks differently is excluded. But where does the DP have the luxury to exclude people, especially those who have the courage to tell the truth in the face and think differently so that the DP can be the winner. The DP does not have the luxury of those who stay for a salary either, everyone is needed, but each in their own position ," said Salianji.
And another message he had for Berisha from Berat was the implementation of the statute in case of losses, asking the leader of the DP to resign.
Salianji said that the statute is clear: if the party fails to be a winning force, the chairman must resign and pave the way for a new race.
" There have been losers who have been becoming MPs since 1996. We have sanctioned in the statute that, if the party fails to be a winning force, there are no excuses: the chairman resigns and paves the way for another race, to make the DP the winner. Why was I a hero three months ago, while today, since I tell the truth and do not become part of the losers' club, I am problematic and the meetings are organized by crime? Democrats want competition and honesty ," he said.
