Yesterday, the Albanian Prime Minister, unlike his own Minister of Defense, who came out and said that "we have ordered the planes to put out the fires, we are waiting for them to be produced," went even further. He came out and said that the planes would not do us any good, even if we had them.
"Apart from the economic bills, the fire situation cannot be solved with firefighting planes," said the prime minister while making small talk about Greece and Italy burning worse than us.
Rama's comment about firefighting planes was more or less like that movie thing that his government wives like to say whenever they get the chance: there are cases like this in the world, and movies are made about it.
But today Gjatoja has changed his mind. Who knows from what dream he had last night, today he is selling helicopters as the best work in the attack against the fires. "6 helicopters are on intensive missions in Fushë Arrëz, Mirditë and Bulqizë," the Albanian prime minister wrote on social networks.
