The member of the presidency of the Democratic Party, Eno Bozdo, has reacted through a statement regarding the opening of the competition of the Port of Durrës.
Bozdo describes the public property as an apple forbidden by the government, as according to him it is a flagrant act, on the scale of national treason, the forgiveness of the Port of Durrës, of public property of 800 thousand square meters, in the heart of the city, to Arab Alabar, Edi's friend To Rama, no competition, no competition, as if it were property inherited from his father, he says.
Eno Bozdo's statement:
"Behind yesterday's spectacle for the opening of the competition of the new Port of Durrës, lies the biggest theft of public property, which also hides the shocking affair of the non-existent incinerators. It is a flagrant act, on the scale of national treason, of forgiving the Port of Durrës, of public property of 800 thousand square meters, in the heart of the city, to Arab Alabar, friend of Edi Rama, without competition, without competition, as if it were the property of inherited from father.
Behind Rama's bombastic promises for employment, lies the shocking fact that he never mentioned: this new port will cost Albanians at least 1.5 billion euros, and these euros do not come from Alabar's profits, but from our pockets. Rama's scheme is economic and social infamy: the current Port of Durres, the most valuable property in Albania, is taken by his friend, while the new Port of Durres is built with Albanian tax money.
Alabar will be further enriched with the property donated by Edi Rama, the latter will get his share, while the Albanians will open their eyes. The only thing that the ordinary Albanian will be able to do in the country that was once the property of everyone, is to eat an ice cream and see the windows of expensive stores.

In yesterday's spectacle, the "sharks" were not the foreign companies, but the prime minister himself, as an apex predator of public property. He and his strategic investors have wreaked havoc with valuable public properties in the south and north of the country. The case of Durrës is the symbol of this phenomenon.
On February 13 of this year, i.e. 6 months ago, the Democratic Party filed the relevant lawsuit in SPAK for the mega-robbery of the public property of the Port of Durrës. No response to date. SPAK considers the lawsuit with Rama's name as blasphemy and does not touch it. Dumani and his family know the great intellectual Rama, and since they could not discover smaller crimes committed by other intellectuals of the Renaissance, they do not even come close to Rama.
The facts are screaming: without competition and no preliminary study, without consultation with the public or even with the European Commission and the World Bank, which have invested hundreds of millions of euros in the Port of Durrës, the work in this port is suspended and the property is forgiven to Alabar.
The Democratic Party does not oppose any public works, and even more so a new seaport. But we denounce the fact that public property has been stolen, that it will take at least 10 years for the port to be built and enter the market. In the conditions where Albania is currently without any port, this is a killer for the economy and the geostrategic position of Albania in maritime trade and in the NATO security network.
Competing ports in Greece and Montenegro are benefiting from this disaster in the name of greed and propaganda cooked up by Rama.
Behind every spectacle of Rama, there is the cover-up of a scandal. Behind yesterday's spectacle lies the shadow of the shocking testimony of a very close man, his friend and deputy for more than a decade.
Arben Ahmetaj proved that all the accusations of the opposition are true. Including here the lack of will of SPAK to fight the government crime related to Rama.
A government that exterminates Albanians and sells their property is an enemy of the people. We should treat it as such.
Finally, a call for tomorrow's protest at the City Hall at 11.00. Let's come together against theft, corruption, greed, regardless of whether it's called Alabar or 5D".
