
The President of the Constitutional Court, Holta Zaçaj, disclosed the details of the meeting with the US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken.
Zaçaj points out that Blinken reconfirmed the support of the United States of America in the steps to reform the law, calling its consistency as key to the implementation of the rule of law.
"Meeting of the President of the Constitutional Court with the US Secretary of State Antoni Blinken. The President of the Constitutional Court, Ms. Holta Zaçaj, was present at the meeting that the Secretary of State of the United States of America, Antoni Bliken, held with the highest heads of justice institutions as part of his first official visit to Albania.
During the meeting Mr. Blinken reconfirmed the support of the United States of America in the steps for the reform of justice, describing its continuity as key for the implementation of the rule of law, democracy and the development of the country", the announcement states.
Secretary Blinken met the day before with the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, the president of the Constitutional Court, Holta Zaçaj, the head of the Supreme Court, Sokol Sadushi, and the High Inspector of Justice, Artur Metani.
