The reasons for the visit of the US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken and the messages conveyed by him have caused a debate between the ministers Elisa Spiropali and Robert Rakipllari.
According to the Minister of State for Relations with the Parliament, Elisa Spiropali, Blinken proved that Albania is a factor in the region and that Rama is a reliable leader. Analyst Alfred Lela and Robert Rakipllarit intervened in the discussion.
Meanwhile, Rakipllarit noted that Albania is the most pro-American country in the region and can play a role in stopping Russian expansion.
Excerpts from the debate:
Spiropali: We are talking about a meeting, where practically there were those who defeated them and those who declared them undesirable. I don't see how all this analysis can be turned into a theoretical critique of Mr. Blinken and American DASH policy
Lela: Yes, McGonagall too
Spiropali: The two people who were at the meeting today...
Lela: Have you met Charles McGonigal?
Spiropalus: No, never. You deal with it. It seems too much for me to sit and analyze, I feel ashamed to sit and deal with the discussion of an opposition, for which I regret today. Today it is clear that the opposition is not only abandoned by the citizens, but also by our partners in the most open way.
Lela: What about the information released by the prime minister that was given to McGonigal.
Spiropali: Does it seem to me like a debate about the plight of the knight whose legs are dangling? Can we talk seriously? We have a government and a prime minister, who is strongly supported and for good reason. Not that suddenly Blinken woke up and told me to go through Albania once more. But that Albania is a factor. Rama is a trusted leader
Rakipllari: When you start talking about Edi Rama is another story
Spiropali: I didn't talk about Mr. Rama today
Rakipllari: I can't compete with you there. Here you are unbeatable
Spiropali: I am quoting Mr. Blinken
Rakipllari: One of Blinken's messages was judicial reform and its results. Today Rama said to Blinken, you turned the page on the history of Albania. Because the reform in justice is an American product, that's why it is reliable today. This is the moment for justice to do what has not been done so far
Second, Albania is not the most democratic country in the region, but it is the most pro-American country. Rama is clear that he listens to the Americans and listens to them. Blinken said that too. In the framework of the entire geostrategic situation, Albania can play a role to give a message, where it plays the role to interrupt this Russian expansion.
Even the compliments for Rama are in this context. Rama is their ally in the region.
