"The election results should not be recognized", the Electoral College sets the date to review the DP's appeal

The Electoral College has set the date for a hearing to consider the appeal of the Democratic Party and the coalition it led to not recognize the results of the May 11 parliamentary elections.

Thus, the session at the College will be held on September 4 at 10:00. The rapporteur of the session will be Lutfije Celami and the members will be Entela Shedula, Alma Kodraliu, Ornela Naqellari and Enkel Peza.

The Electoral College session will take place at the premises of the Administrative Court of Appeal.

The Democratic Party appealed to the Electoral College the decision of the Regulatory Commission that definitively certified the results of the May 11 elections, claiming that the process was accompanied by serious legal violations and irregularities.
