SP MP Tërmet Peçi has left the premises of the Special Prosecutor's Office SPAK, after more than two hours. As he left the Special Prosecutor's Office, Peçi was asked by journalists about the reason for his summons to SPAK and whether this was related to his "clash" with Prime Minister Rama. The former mayor stated that SPAK prosecutors should be questioned about this.
Despite the fact that nothing has been said about the reason for his summons to SPAK, Peçi was asked some time ago by SPAK about the signatures he had cast during his time as mayor of Tepelena.
This is an open proceeding on how the former pioneers' palace in this city was privatized, reported by one of the owners of the facility.
Peçi has also been denounced by the opposition, specifically by Arben Ristani, who requested an investigation by SPAK into the way the tenders were conducted, accusing the beneficiaries of being chosen preferentially.
