Socialist Party MP and candidate for deputy in Tirana, Blerina Gjylameti, says that in the May 11 parliamentary elections, the Socialist Party is not competing with the Democratic Party but with itself.
Invited to the studio of the Opinion show on TV Klan, Gjylameti stated that the Socialist Party reflects after each mandate, improving its work.
" We have shown that we have radically transformed not only Albania, but every institution. We are not competing with the DP, we are competing with ourselves. Mandate after mandate, the SP has a moment of reflection to make the best of what it has done. Today, after 3 mandates and with the two natural disasters that affected our country, Covid and the earthquake, today we have a public debt that is around 55-56%. We do not receive money as it was during the time of the DP. We have never taken on debt to increase the debt and without making investments. If we talk, we must talk about those who voted for us. Today, citizens have about 3 times more income than they had in 2013 ," said MP Blerina Gjylameti, among other things.
The Socialist Party has been in power for 3 consecutive terms and is seeking a fourth governing term.
