Bomb alert in Pristina, police surround the hospital center

The Police of Kosovo has been put on alert after finding an explosive device in the University Clinical Center of Kosovo.

The spokesperson of the Prishtina Police, Agron Borovci, said that the vehicle was found in the pre-clinical institutes, in the premises where the Chamber of Doctors of Kosovo is located.

The police immediately went to the scene and surrounded the object, creating a security perimeter to enable deactivation of the explosive device.

"Immediately after receiving the information, the police went to the scene and took all the necessary actions to ensure against the risk of an eventual explosion, evacuating the surrounding personnel and securing the necessary perimeter", says Borovci.
