The head of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the Parliament of Great Britain, Alicia Kearns, welcomed the decision of the head of British diplomacy, David Cameron, to visit Kosovo.
Through a post on Twitter, she wrote that it is time to raise her voice for Kosovo.
"I am glad to see David Cameron in Kosovo today. The UK has an important role to play as an independent voice and to challenge the lack of justice in the Berlin Process. It is time for us to find the strength for Kosovo and stand firm with them against irredentism", wrote the British MP.
Some time ago, the heads of the Foreign Parliamentary Commissions of several countries wrote to the head of the European Union's Foreign Policy, Josep Borrell, and the mediator of the dialogue, Miroslav Lajčak, mentioning in detail the successive attacks, such as the Serbian aggression on September 24 or the kidnapping of the Kosovo police and emphasized that the Banjska incident could have escalated if it were not for the professionalism of the police.
In the letter signed by Kearns, among others, Brussels was also requested to remove punitive measures against Kosovo. Among the measures in question is the temporary suspension of work on the Stabilization-Association Agreement, as well as the suspension of Kosovo's presence in high-level organizations and bilateral visits.
