Former KLA fighter Dritan Goxhaj has commented on the elections held this Sunday in the North of Kosovo.
Invited to the show "Review" on Euronews Albania, Goxhaj emphasized that the Serbs were threatened not to boycott, but according to him, the Albanians did not participate in the elections either.
Goxhaj added that with the referendum, Albin Kurti and the Kosovo government fell into a trap, as the non-participation of the Albanians will be used by the Serbs in their favor.
"Serbia has been talking about the security issue in the North of Kosovo for some time and calls on them to boycott. He threatens them and then the Serbs boycott and do not participate because they say they have no security from the Kosovo government. But who threatened the Albanians not to come out? Tomorrow this will be used by Serbia, saying that the Albanians also feel threatened by the large presence of the Kosovo police and therefore they refused to participate in this referendum. The Serbs will use this. Kurti and the government of Kosovo fell into the trap in this case. The referendum was a trap", said Goxhaj.
