Albin Kurti has invited the president of the Democratic Party of Kosovo and the president of the Democratic League of Kosovo to a meeting.
Prime Minister Kurti has invited the leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi, and the leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, to meet before the constitutive session resumes on May 1.
Kurti's letter comes after eight attempts to constitute the Assembly failed, and six times Albulena Haxhiu, proposed by the Vetëvendosje Movement, did not receive enough votes for the Speaker of Parliament.
"Based on the Constitution, three vice-presidents will be from the three parties that won the most seats, therefore I invite you to a joint meeting with Mr. Memli Krasniqi, the President of the PDK, in room N-204 of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, tomorrow (Thursday), May 1, 2025, at 8:30. Hoping for a positive response, I greet you ," Kurti's letter states.
