The chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, has declared that the prime minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, should resign.
Through a post on social networks, Haradinaj said that urgent reflection is needed by Kurti and his government, after the failure of yesterday's meeting in Brussels, between the head of the government of Kosovo and the president of Serbia, Aleksandër Vucic.
According to Haradinaj, in the absence of Kurti's reflection, it remains the responsibility of the opposition to dismiss him through a motion of no confidence.
" The situation created after yesterday's failure in Brussels, with a tendency to deepen the crisis, with serious consequences for the people of Kosovo, require urgent reflection by Kurti and his government.
He must resign and return the mandate to the people. He should do this action even if he thinks he is on the right path. He is obliged to ask the people what they think about his actions. In a democracy, elections are the best answer. In case of Kurti's lack of reflection, it remains the responsibility of the rest of us to unite and act urgently to send the country to elections, dismissing Kurti through a motion of no confidence. It is time to ask the people how to get out of this dangerous situation" , writes Haradinaj on Facebook.
