The NATO mission in Kosovo, KFOR, announces that it is conducting patrols along the border between Kosovo and Serbia.
"The Italian platoon of ORF engineers conducts a standard security patrol along the Administrative Border Line," says a post on social networks, alongside footage of KFOR members on the ground.
KFOR clarifies in the public announcement that it is fully focused on the daily implementation of its mandate.
KFOR's commitment continues to provide a safe and peaceful environment for all communities living in Kosovo as well as freedom of movement.
"KFOR is fully focused on the day-to-day implementation of its mandate - based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 - to provide a safe and peaceful environment for all communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement", their announcement states.
