Attorney Tom Gashi has shown details from the investigation into the murder of Liridona Ademaj.
According to him, from the beginning, the police had the evidence to suspect that Murseli was involved in the execution of his wife.
"Naim Murseli was the driver. The wife was very close. He got out of the car when the masked killer came, it was assumed that it was a robbery. He took the children, but left his wife. According to the testimony, when he left, he heard a crack, but did not return. He didn't call the police with his phone, he told the shop assistant at the market. From here, the police could tell something was wrong. Then he said in evidence how many days he slept in a hotel, this could be easily verified. The police discovered these things when they saw the cameras, the car was seen that had been rented for several days. Through the car, it was identified who is the killer. When the killer told about the 30,000 euros that had been promised to him, the investigation was expanded, it was seen that a relative was also involved ," said the lawyer.
According to the father, Murseli exchanged communications with a woman, with whom he allegedly had an affair. Speaking about the reason that "motivated" him to hatch the plan to kill the mother of two children, the lawyer stated that the motive was so frightening that he decided to implement the plan that day, even though there were also minors.
"He is changing statements to hide his true motive. He talked about messages that Liridona claims to have seen. His father also spoke about the messages that show that Naim Murseli had an affair with a woman of one of his relatives. I think that Naim Murseli is hiding the real motive. It seems that for Naim, the motive was so scary that he decided to kill his wife that day, and the motive is what scared him. Was he pushed by someone? Did Liridona have information? I think that Naimi is giving a small motive, but the main motive is hidden", continues the lawyer.
Gashi casts doubt on the phones of Naim Murseli and Liridona Ademaj, which have not been found by the Kosovo Police.
"How is it possible that the evidence of both Liridona and Naim disappeared. However, the motive is what I believe prompted Naim Murseli to organize the murder of Liridona. The police must find out if someone took the phones. It may happen that whoever has those phones is blackmailing someone else involved, but this is just a guess," he said to "TCH".
