Kosovo has marked an important step in the defense industry, by producing its first combat drone. It is the “SKIFTERI K1”, an unmanned aerial vehicle with advanced strike capabilities and a long range.

According to published data, the “SKIFTERI K1” offers maximum flight capabilities of up to 7 hours and 12 minutes and a range of up to 1,124 kilometers. These are the maximum designed capabilities of the drone and not necessarily the result of a single test.

The drone is capable of operating in an armed configuration, with a payload capacity of up to 42 kilograms, making it suitable for long-range air strike missions.

"SKIFTERI K1" has been tested and the emphasis is placed on operational accuracy and functionality, while technical data shows its potential for use in strategic air missions.
