The envoy of the European Union for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajçak, has announced that the EU is making preparations for the meeting of leaders from Kosovo and Serbia in Brussels, on September 14, within the framework of the dialogue.
Through a post on Facebook, in the summary of the weekend, Lajcak emphasized that during the meetings with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti and the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, he reminded them that all the Dialogue Agreements remain valid and binding for both sides.
At the same time, he emphasized that the same must be fully implemented without any condition or delay.
"I also met Prime Minister Albin Kurti in Bled. We talked about the preparations for the next High Level Dialogue Meeting in September, with a focus on the normalization of relations and the implementation of the EU declaration of June 3. I also raised my concerns about the situation in the north of Kosovo. From Bled, I flew to Belgrade, where I met with President Aleksandar Vucic. We talked in detail about efforts to reduce tensions and hold new local elections in the north of Kosovo, as well as the implementation of all Dialogue Agreements. I reminded both leaders that all Dialogue Agreements remain valid and binding on both sides and must be fully implemented without any conditions or delays.", he wrote.
