The Kosovo Security Force (FSK) has carried out a march with 215 soldiers, from the "Minatori" barracks to the village of Frashër in Mitrovica and has returned to the base. For this, the KSF announced that the KFOR Battalion Commander and his staff, located at their base in Maxhunaj, were aware.
Regarding this march, the Minister of Defense, Armend Mehaj, reacted, who says that this is a regular march and has nothing to do with the current situation in the north of Kosovo. He requested that the march not be given another connotation as he called not to believe the fake news.
The Minister of Defense, Armend Mehaj clarified that such marches are regular and that this exercise was also part of the annual plan.
"Today, the Third Regiment carried out the conditional march which was planned for 215 of our soldiers. The march in Mitrovica started from the "Minatori" barracks to Frashër village and returned to the barracks again.
Such marches are regular, this exercise was also part of the annual plan and was carried out today, therefore we appeal to everyone not to give any other connotation to such activities. The march has nothing to do with the security situation in the north of the Republic," writes Mehtaj on Facebook.
