The Serbs in Kosovo are planning to start the formation of the Union of Serbian Municipalities (ZSO), reports the Serbian media Blic, referring to unofficial information.
In the following period, it is planned to hold an Assembly of Serbs from Kosovo, in which the ZSO will be announced and the bodies of the Community will be established.
"The plan is to soon begin the formation of the Union of Serbian Municipalities and its bodies, and Dragisha Milović, a respected doctor and former mayor of the municipality of Zveçan, will be proposed as the first president of the ZSO," writes Blic. .
According to the report, the Brussels agreement was signed more than 10 years ago.
"The Association of Serbian Municipalities has not been formed for more than 3,700 days, and after everything we have endured in the last few days, it is clear that no one really wants it: neither the government in Kosovo, nor the international community. That is why we will let's take matters into our own hands", adds the source.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has announced today that the Serbs in Kosovo will make important decisions about Vidovdan (June 28), thus warning what Blic reports.
"Vidovdan is an important day in Serbian history....Serbs will take their steps peacefully on the road to their freedom, in accordance with international legal norms.
As far as we are concerned, we will no longer inform anyone, except for raising or lowering combat readiness, except for our obligations to NATO, which we will always fulfill fully in accordance with Resolution 1244.
We will try to maintain peace, but we warn all those who do not care about peace and who want the Serbs to be expelled from the north of Kosovo a little more quietly and not so loudly, that this will not happen. That's all I have to tell them", said Vucic.
We remind you that Vidovdani is the Serbian commemoration of the battle of the Kosovo Plain, where the Ottomans began their rule of the Balkans.
