The Kosovo opposition has announced that the next day it will protest against the government. In a press release, the opposition says that the government should withdraw from scandalous actions.
According to them, the speaker of the Assembly, Mimoza Kusari, should retire from her post, while they also express dissatisfaction with the head of the government, Albin Kurti. The protest will take place at "Skënderbeu" square at 18:00.
"The government of Kosovo is not retreating from scandalous actions. Therefore, on Saturday, July 15, we all protest against government scandals, against coordination with Millan Radojciqi, against the violation of the rights of KLA fighters. Mimoza Kusari must hand over the mandate. A politician who is busy coordinating with Milan Radojčič against the fighters of the UKC should not be part of the Assembly of Kosovo.
The law that exempts veterans from the minimum wage was shamefully voted down by the parliamentary majority. Therefore, we ask the president to reverse this unjust and anti-KLA law.
"We protest in "Skënderbeu" square, July 15, at 6:00 p.m.," the announcement states.
