The Deputy Prime Minister and Serbian Minister of Defense of Serbia, Milosh Vučević, has said that the citizens of central Serbia should not be "irritated" by the decision that vehicles with RKS (Republic of Kosovo) license plates can move freely in Serbia, saying that this serves the policies for the emptying of Kosovo.
"Why are we getting nervous? Let them travel. 300,000, 500,000 people will go there (in the EU, after visa liberalization). To show a little political wisdom, we need a little Milosh Obrenovic's policy, a little patience (Milosh Obrenovic is among the first inspirers of the sacred Serbian doctrine of the annihilation and expulsion of Albanians from their lands). As "N1" reports, he assessed that it should be seen in a broader view, who gains what and who loses what, saying that Serbia "does not lose anything and does not gain anything" with that decision.
"I read somewhere a comment that we allowed Albanians from Kosovo to travel with their travel documents. So where do they travel? They travel to countries where their visas have been revoked. So what are you upset about? Be a little politically astute. What is the problem they are going to Switzerland, Germany or wherever they are going? What should we do, ghettoization? Let them go where they think is best. Their allies have taken away their visas, so let them go there to them," said Vucevic.
According to him, the fact that Serbia allows the residents of Kosovo to travel through Serbia, using the documentation or license plates issued by the administration in Pristina, "absolutely does not mean recognition of the so-called independence of Kosovo".
"We place a note everywhere that leaving someone in the territory of central Serbia with those license plates, with that identity card, travel document issued by Prishtina, does not mean recognition of Kosovo's independence, and neither will Serbia ever recognize that independence. which they call the Republic of Kosovo", he said.
