The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, spoke this evening about the situation in which Kosovo is, as she did not leave without criticizing the internationals for their attitudes towards the Kosovars. Osmani said that if internationals are dissatisfied with the actions of Kosovo's politicians or institutions in general, the punishment should not be related to the people of Kosovo.
Invited to "Top Story", while talking about foreign policy and relations with internationals, Osmani emphasized open and honest conversations with them, but at no time threatening.
Among other things, the president said that the lack of visa liberalization for the people of Kosovo is a historical injustice, since according to her, they are the only people on the continent, which is 100% in full line with every foreign policy decision.
"I learned because none of us are perfect, I learned more from our strategic partner the USA, that honesty with partners, and being open with them so that they know what to expect with us, is the most appreciated. This is not a threat, it is information in relation to our partners, if they are not satisfied with the actions of the government of the Republic of Kosovo, or the president, or the institutions in general, the punishment should not be related to the people of Kosovo. And this issue of visa liberalization is a historical injustice to the people of Kosovo, to consider it as a people that deserves the ghetto means to value it as a second or third-rate people and not to value the fact that it is the most pro people -European on our continent, is 100% in full line with every foreign policy decision. I am convinced that Macron appreciates all of this, so my goal is for all our allies to understand what is harming the dialogue process. I think that with President Macron and everyone else, we should be honest and speak openly, but at no time have I used threatening tones. Without allies none of our success would be ours.",Osmani said.
